TE Academy is an online course designed specifically for absolute beginners who want to get the most out of Teenage Engineering's OP-1 Field synthesizer. You'll learn through step-by-step video lessons, downloadable resources, and practical walkthroughs—all structured to help you build confidence and skill.

The full TE Academy program includes 40+ hours of content spread across 10 comprehensive modules. Most students complete the course in 6–8 weeks with consistent practice, but you can go at your own pace. You'll have lifetime access to all materials and future updates.

We're targeting a late 2025 launch. If you join the waitlist, you'll be the first to know when enrollment opens and receive exclusive early access—2 weeks before the public release.

You'll learn how to navigate the OP-1 Field interface; use its synth engines, tape recorder, sampler, sequencers, and mixer; build full tracks from scratch; and record, arrange, and perform music with intention and creativity.

Yes! All lessons use a combination of written material and pre-recorded content, so you can watch them at any time, from anywhere. Learn on your own schedule and revisit the material whenever you need a refresher.

No. TE Academy is an independently produced course created by a passionate user (me!) to help others get the most out of their OP-1. It's not affiliated with or endorsed by Teenage Engineering.

Right now, our focus is entirely on helping beginners master the OP-1 Field. That said, we're open to expanding to other Teenage Engineering products in the future.
